Former 666 Park Avenue resident Mercedes Masöhn is engaging in some Californication, with a guest-starring role on the Showtime series.
TVLine has confirmed that the actress, whose TV credits also include The Finderand Chuck, will appear in at least one Season 7 episode as Amy Taylor Walsh, a TV star whose plea for Hank’s help ends up putting him in an uncomfortable, compromising position.
As previously reported in TVLine’s Inside Line column, Amy has ties to (and has heard much about Hank from!) fellow actress Sasha Bingham, who in Season 4 was played by Addison Timlin. Masöhn broke the news of her new gig via Twitter on Tuesday.
Season 7 of Californication will premiere in 2014.
Masöhn is the latest big name to join the comedy. Michael Imperioli will stop by as a television producer who plays a key role in Hank's latest project, while Heather Graham will recur throughout the season as an ex-flame and Mary Lynn Rajskub will appear on three episodes as a writer.
